An executive team from the Southern Technical University participated in a workshop for the procedural guide for the Higher Education Support Project for the World Bank Grant to Iraqi Universities, after the start of the competitive project, which the university won among six projects that Iraqi universities competed for.
The workshop aims to discuss the financial and executive plan to start implementing the project and train participants on the work mechanism and how to develop polymer curricula for the finished classes at the Basra Technical College of Engineering and provide them with scientific aspects to provide students with skills and experience in this aspect.
The workshop included the work of the procedural guide for the project to support higher education in financial management, procurement and supply financed by the World Bank, as it falls within the scope of universities’ openness to qualifying graduates for the purpose of obtaining job opportunities and community service.
It is reported that the university’s participating team consisted of the teacher in the Department of Chemical Technologies at the College, Fadhil Ismail Hamad and Dr. Amjad Ahmed Ali, as well as the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Presidency of the Southern Technical University, Mr. Ayman Rahim Abdul Aali.
