The Technical College of Engineering, Basra, was hosted by the Southern Technical University, represented by the United Nations Volunteers Program (UNV .).
The hosting included holding a workshop on how to register for volunteer opportunities available within the program platform, as well as providing a full explanation about the mechanism of joining within the United Nations volunteer platform and job opportunities available for students and graduates.
In addition to presenting the program’s vision that includes creating a world in which volunteerism is valued and respected within societies as a means of bringing people and countries together to achieve peace and development.
And that the program works to promote volunteer work and mobilize volunteers, as the program is active in 158 countries around the world.
