Within its social and cultural program, The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Graduate Studies within the Southern Technical University organized a visit to the State House for Orphans Care in Basra Governorate.
The visit, which was attended by the Dean of the College, included the home designated for orphans, inspecting their humanitarian needs, spreading the spirit of love among them and instilling confidence in their souls .
This visit comes in the month of Ramadan to express how care the university in all its formations is about the important link between education and society.
For their part, the management of the house expressed their happiness with this visit, as it develops within the souls of those present in it a feeling of belonging to the homeland, as it is everyone’s home.
