The Southern Technical University celebrated in its retired members for this year due to their reaching the legal age. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surat AlFatiha, for the deceased retirees and the martyrs of Iraq. The President of the University, Prof. Rabie Hashem Thejil Al-Abbasi, stated in his speech on this occasion that the university is the great title that includes creativity, excellence and models in work, and today we honor models and excellence, insist on the importance of enacting laws that contribute to their service and preserve their rights and gains. From his side, the President assistant of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salem Thamer, stated that retirement from official work is in fact a transition from one stage to another stage of bestowal, pointing out that it is not necessary for a person to be weak at this age, but that is what the laws stipulate and he concluded his speech with thanks And appreciation for the efforts and work spend by the retired gentlemen for the sake of others in making success.
