At the Basra Technical Institute at the Southern Technical University, an educational laboratory for critical cases and basic nursing has been opened. The laboratory opened by the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Alaa Farid Abdel-Ahad, in the presence of the Dean of the Institute, the head of the department, teachers and students, The Critical Cases Hall and the Essentials of Nursing Hall, which simulated the reality of the hospitals operating in the province, included an educational model for newborns as well as special equipment for emergency and critical situations. Abdul Sunday showed that the university seeks, through such training and educational activities, to strengthen the scientific and professional aspect of students, and it focuses on the need to acquire skills and experiences in order to enable them to engage in government work and the private sector
