The President of the Southern Technical University Professor Rabi Hashim al-Abbasi served as the dean of the Nasiriyah Technical Institute from a lower location, and during this practice he met with the members of the Institute’s Board. Al-Abbasi discussed with the council the central acceptance plan and the structure of the committees charged with receiving and enrolling students. The university is keen to follow the progress of the work of the scientific departments in completing the current academic year, in all circumstances. On a related level, His Excellency met with the officials of the divisions and administrative units and listened to their work activity and urged them to continue to work with great vigour, with the need to follow the instructions and directives. During this visit, the Rector also visited the classrooms, workshops and laboratories and met with a number of members of the Institute. He pointed out the need to develop technical staff within the workshops and to upgrade the equipment and equipment used in exercises and student projects. He also informed His Excellency of the work of the student reception committee for this year and of the examination committees and he stated his observations on the work of the committees in all scientific departments and on the instructions given for the transcripts of the University’s sessions. The Rector of the University was accompanied on this visit by Dr. Khoam Risan Hussein, Dean of the Nasserite Technical Institute, and Dr. Kazem Hanif, Director of the University Secretariat Department , In addition to the Dean’s assistants for Scientific, Administrative and Student Affairs. The President of the University met with the Dean of the Technical College Dhi Qar, Professor Baqer Turki Attiyah.
