During the workshop, the negative impact of drugs on individuals and societies was explained, and how they can lead to the deterioration of the individual’s health and psychological state, which negatively affects the surrounding environment. The effective role played by the Internet in providing education and awareness about drugs was also highlighted, through digital platforms and electronic consultations

The lecturer (Dhuha Jabbar Mahjar) stressed in the workshop the importance of digital technology in providing support to stop this scourge, as individuals can communicate with specialists and receive advice via the Internet and artificial intelligence methods to detect entities from the so-called “dark web” that seek to promote drug trafficking through electronic blackmail.
