Mr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, the President of the Southern Technical University, inaugurated the book exhibition organized by the Department of Cultural Activities in cooperation with the Deanship of the Basra Technical Institute and the Basra Achievement Foundation for Development (the organizing committee for the cultural and book events on Al-Farahidi Street in Basra). The head of the Department of Cultural Activities at the university spoke about several cultural activities that the university intends to hold in the near future, starting with the book exhibition. Mr. Ali Mahmood praised the organizational efforts of the book exhibition and the carefully selected titles for participation, which displayed precision and diversity in topics. On the sidelines of the exhibition, a workshop for Arabic calligraphy was opened, along with another for drawing instruction, and an exhibition of drawings, manuscripts, and handicrafts.
