The Student Activities Division at the Technical College of Engineering, Maysan, within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Maysan Health Department, organized a workshop on first aid. The workshop, in which the head of the Operations and Emergency Medical Services Department in the Health Department, Dr. Ghazwan Kadhim Al-Lami, lectured, aims to provide assistance skills during emergency situations. Medical related to illness or accident, which can occur anywhere and at any time, in addition to the ability to recognize life-threatening situations, as well as increasing the skills of being able to provide vital assistance before more experienced help arrives. The workshop attended by the Dean, Professor Dr. Mahmood Abdul aziz mohammad , included Dear Muhammad and a number of students and associates, a detailed and practical explanation of the most important procedures and first aid regarding cardiopulmonary resuscitation, epilepsy, suffocation, bleeding, burns, poisoning, and fractures.
