The Southern Technical University organized a course on medicinal plants, the future of medicines, and the modern concept of active substances in them. The course, in which the lecturer at the Health and Medical Technical College, Dr. Shorouq Abdul Razzaq Hassan, lectured, included an introduction to medicinal plants, their therapeutic importance, and the most important plants used in treatments, as well as the most important chronic diseases that are treated with them. The course aims to introduce participants to medicines and drugs extracted from various living materials, in addition to the importance of using medicinal plants and pharmaceutical drugs for humans and other living organisms. The course concluded that introducing the Umayyads to training on how to use them brings risks. As a result of this, there is an urgent need to learn how to form it and how it is formed has become an urgent need. Training must be given on how to use it and avoid the risks resulting from this and the future that awaits this important industry.
