The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Shatrah Technical College within the Southern Technical University held a symposium on the leadership role of women and the art of managing power in institutions. The symposium in which Dr. Noor Ali Haddoud, a lecturer at Sumer University, lectured, included topics including the leadership work of women and its impact on promoting the concept of wisdom and moderation, and how it is achieved Empowering women in leadership positions in institutions, as well as the role that women play in society. The symposium aims to introduce the challenges facing women, in addition to highlighting the economic and political aspects they adopt while confronting difficult societal conditions. The symposium concluded with the need for everyone to bear responsibility and provide women with opportunities, platforms and means to achieve their lofty goals and enhance their methods of leadership and crisis management.
