The Technical College of Engineering, Maysan, within the Southern Technical University, implemented a training course entitled Basics in the Microsoft Office Word program, which included newly recruited college employees. The course, in which programmer Sahi Allawi lectured on religion, included topics including the basic tasks of the program, saving and reading documents, as well as the technical effects and important corrections for working on it, in addition to the most important features of the work. The course aims to train participants on how to work on this program and learn about profile information. For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Aziz Mohammad, stated that the scientific programs adopted by the departments kept in mind the importance of training and qualification in order to enhance the technical and administrative capabilities of the College’s members and students, pointing out that this course constitutes in its training units an urgent necessity for workers, not in the administrative field.
