The sixteenth session was held at the Southern Technical University in the presence of the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Rabie Hashim Abbasi, and the members of the council, which included a review of the most important things that came in the meeting of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani with the heads of universities and advanced staff at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, in the presence of His Excellency the minister of Higher Education, Abbasi, indicated that the prime minister stressed a set of points he also pointed out the need to focus on the specialties that our economy and our institutions need, and that universities should turn into an arena for solving real problems and developing systems in the field of governance, stressing the importance of scientific sobriety of teachers, after which the participants discussed the issuance of administrative orders for holders of higher diplomas and newly recruited who have passed the teaching methods course, and the attendees also discussed following the Bologna educational path for engineering departments in the field of the council then reviewed the most important items on the agenda and made the necessary recommendations and decisions.
