Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, who was delegated by the President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Halil Al-Kaabi, the Southern Technical University celebrated the graduation of its students in the eighth session (with science builds homelands)
The President of the University, Prof.Dr. Rabee Hashem Al-Abbasi, read the university’s speech, in which he mentioned (we celebrate this day, and we must not forget and always remember the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs who preserved Iraq’s dignity, land, and prestige, pointing out that the scientific and practical achievements of the university are something that calls for pride and honor Represented by opening horizons of permanent communication with the various industrial and professional sectors in our dear country.
And supplying the labor market with the necessary competencies and experiences from our graduates for the sake of perpetuating the work.
Al-Abbasi pointed out in his speech (that this elite of graduates is nothing but a distinguished sample of the creative youth of Iraq, who is looking forward to taking an active role in the professional and scientific life of the productive Iraqi society.
And the president of the university concluded his speech, pledging that the Southern Technical University will always and forever be a distinguished platform for science and creativity, in a way that achieves the goals of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in a way that meets the goals and aspirations of our graduates in excellence and success.
From their part, the graduate students, in a speech delivered on their behalf by student Jaafar Al-Sadiq Musa from the Administrative Technical College, Basra, expressed their thanks and gratitude.
Because they received great parental care from their teachers and at various levels.
They valued the scientific method, which greatly contributed to enriching their scientific career and increasing their practical skills.
The ceremony witnessed the reading of the university orders for graduating diploma students of technical institutes and bachelor’s degrees for college students, as well as the university order for postgraduate students.
