The Technical Institute of Amara within the Southern Technical University held a seminar on students’ behavior on campus. The seminar included an explanation of Student Discipline Law No. 160 of 2007 and clarification of the university student’s rights and obligations. The seminar, which was held under the title “University Manners between Discipline and Law Enforcement”, aims to make the students familiar students with the Student Discipline Law and instill in them the spirit of compliance and application of laws that it serves the general interest of the student and society. The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including the need to adhere to the laws and regulations related to students, as well as to identify the applicable laws, in addition to spreading the legal culture in the university community. Southern Technical University and Basra University adopt a charitable football match for children with cancer in the province.
