The Southern Technical University participated in the seventh Quranic competition for students of Iraqi universities in memorization and recitation, which was organized by the General Secretariat of the Kufa Mosque and its associated shrines for the year 1443 to 2021 AD. The contest was attended by approximately 26 participants from various universities, with participants in recitation and preservation of international arbitrators.
The University’s participation comes from one of its students from the Technical and Administrative College of Basra in furtherance of the directives of the President of the University, Professor Rabi Hashim al-Abbasi, with the participation of students from the university’s formations in cultural and literary events and activities in belief in the university’s mission and goals of opening up to society.
